West Africa Climbing Fest returns for a 3‑day celebration of climbing and community building.
Held every year since 2023 by the Climbing Association of Ghana (Rockstars Gh), converging climbers from around the world to promote Rock Climbing in Ghana.
Building a strong climbing community with an eye on its' health and potential socio-economic impact.
Join exciting, beginner-friendly competitions for all skill levels with amazing prizes to win. A sweet spot for fun, adventure, or simply getaway to challenge yourself and unwind in one unforgettable experience.
We start each morning with energizing yoga to stretch, center, and get ready for the climbs ahead. Then it’s off to explore our 3 (three) climbing sectors, home to 20+ boulders with at least 2 (two) routes each designed for every skill level.
The adventure peaks with a friendly climbing competition, where points are earned by tackling routes of varying difficulty. As the sun sets, we gather in the town square with the village elders to celebrate the day's top climbers.
Our first edition brought together 45 travelling climbers from 15 countries.
Doubled the anticipation and championing of a community climber.
